Tidying Up?
There are so many things you can do to make the house look that little bit more presentable to the people coming in looking to buy it and tidying up has to be the easiest and cheapest option out there. The thing that will take time is making sure everything is clean, hoovering, polishing and putting everything where it is supposed to be will take a long time. At the other end of the argument you do not want to get the house looking too tidy because it will then start to look very unatural and this isnt good.
New Things
If you really wanted to sell the home you could go after doing up one of the rooms. I would certainly start by looking at somewhere like the kitchen because this is a big area that people are interested in. I still do not understand why people are so interested in the kitchen area but they are and it is a big area to look into doing up. One of big rooms that you do not need to really worry about is the bedroom because this is a room many people will do their own thing with it.
Do you prefer to show people around your home yourself? This kind of thing is really up to you and I would not say there is a better way to do it. The estate agents would say differently but then again they would wouldn’t they.
